Now My Feet Won’t Touch The Ground
The Dudette is back in flying colours! After all the excitement we’ve had over the summer with the London Olympics & Paralympics 2012, I was so animated by the performances of all these athletes and the high spirits they raised. I wish they will motivate a new hopeful generation that will aspire to be like the real stars. So here is a tribute to Team GB!

I Want Candy
This is my first out of three special commissions for a company called Switch Systems Ltd based in Exeter. Here’s a link to their website – http://www.switchsystems.co.uk/
The Dudette has a special coloured coat tailored to meet the company’s signature colour. Keeping in the spirit of the Dudette they wanted something fun to liven up their office. This also features the meatball shaped characters chasing after the candy on the beach.

Give Me A Sign
Mum said I was walking by the time I was 1 and 1/2 years old and had the habit of running off….sounds familiar to most families. My earliest memory was when I was in Hong Kong and I had just turned 2 years old. People not noticing I was there, kept walking into me so naturally I got upset. My Dad picked me up and sat me on his shoulders giving me the best view of the city at night. I distinctively remember the bright neon signs everywhere, I was like a moth that couldn’t stop staring into the light!
This takes Dudette and her new mates first adventure into the fast life city of Hong Kong. Overcrowded, tall buildings, shops galore, chaotic signage it really is all too much to absorb for these country creatures.
NOT FOR SALE – W100 x H100 x D2cm
Just Keep Swimming
My favourite character from the Pixar movies was Dory from Finding Nemo. One of the most memorable scenes was where Dory and Marlin race their way through hordes of Jellyfish.
Dory:”Hey Mr. Grumpy Gills… When life gets you down do you wanna know what you gotta do?” Marlin:”I don’t wanna know what you gotta do.” Dory:”Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. What do we do? We swim, swim.”
Surprisingly I came across quite a few this summer on the West Coast beaches of Scotland where there were plenty due to rising sea temperatures. This takes Dudette deep sea diving with the jellyfish which are like electric lights gracefully swimming through the endless abyss.

Voyage Into The Unknown
There are caves and……then there are gargantuan caves that freak me out yet at the same time fascinate me. It amazes me that there are so many places still left unexplored on this planet and so this takes the Dudette on another adventure into the unknown!
FOR SALE – W30 x H120 x D2cm
Martian Rain, Martian Rain
If ever you are in the far east go to Vietnam! I was on holiday in Vietnam last year and I found myself on a junk boat in Halong Bay. The majestic and mysterious islands rise above the emerald green sea, they seem almost alien to this world. I was also influenced by sci-fi film “Prometheus” about a group of scientists exploring a new planet and trying to trace the origin of life. No aliens in this one. Phew!

You Float My Boat
